Privacy Policy
TTH Detailz ("we", "us", or "our") is a small, owner-operated car-detailing business based in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. This page explains what information we collect when you contact us or book a service, and how we use it. We try to keep this short and plain-English.
What we collect
When you book online, call, text, or DM us, you may share:
- Contact info — your name, phone number, and (optionally) email so we can confirm and send a calendar invite.
- Vehicle & service details — year/make/model, the package you want, and any notes you add.
- Location — your city/town for drop-off, or your address if you're requesting mobile service so we can quote distance.
- Review content — if you leave a public review, your name, rating, and review text are stored and displayed publicly on this site.
- Booking thank-you texts — after you submit an online booking request, we may send one short SMS to the mobile number you entered so you know we saw it (same tone we'd use in person — not mass marketing).
- Basic site analytics — first-party event names (such as page views or tap-to-call), approximate timestamps, and technical headers our server already receives may be saved to operate and secure the site.
The booking form runs entirely in your browser. When you submit, it opens a pre-filled text message to 630-454-1159 and downloads a calendar invite to your device — we don't store form contents on our servers unless you actually send the text.
How we use it
- To confirm appointments, give you arrival windows, and quote mobile upcharges.
- To send a quick thank-you when someone books online — so they know we saw the request.
- To follow up after a detail (rare — usually only if you reach out first).
- To display reviews you choose to publish on the Reviews page.
- To understand aggregate traffic and abuse patterns using first-party analytics (no ad profiling).
We do not sell or rent your information. We don't run ad retargeting on this site.
Cookies & analytics
This site does not set marketing or tracking cookies. We may use basic, privacy-respecting hosting logs (IP, user-agent, requested page) to keep the site reliable and spot abuse.
Our server may also record simple first-party analytics when you use the site — for example which pages were viewed and when someone taps call, text, or social links — stored only on our infrastructure to operate and protect the site (not for ad targeting).
Embedded content (Instagram posts, fonts from Google Fonts) may set cookies governed by those third parties' own policies.
Third parties
- Phone carrier / SMS — booking submissions open your native messaging app; thank-you texts may be delivered via our SMS provider from our business line. Standard carrier rates apply.
- Calendar apps — the
.icsinvite is generated locally and stays on your device. - Instagram, Snapchat, Google Fonts — linking out to these services means you'll be subject to their privacy policies.
Your choices
- You can ask us to delete stored analytics tied to your visit or a submitted review by texting 630-454-1159. We delete reviews from the site on request; server logs roll off over time per hosting retention.
- You can opt out of follow-up texts at any time — just reply STOP or let us know.
Kids
This site is not intended for children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we update this policy we'll change the date at the top. Material changes get a note in the footer.
